The Wireless Mesh Network for Pesticide Spray Monitoring and Mapping project aimed to address the global challenge of increasing food production by enhancing pesticide application efficiency. Leveraging ESP32 microcontrollers and interdigitated electrodes (IDEs), the team will design and implement a wireless mesh network capable of measuring and monitoring pesticide spray distribution across different levels of a crop canopy. This system will enable centralized data collection and storage for analysis, facilitating improved pesticide stewardship and application methods. By providing actionable insights into spray distribution, this innovative approach contributes to sustainable agriculture and environmental responsibility.
